John Baptist Kabo-Bah, the CEO of Afrivoices for Climate Change, a Ghanaian NGO committed to enhancing the well-being and resilience of rural communities, was recently featured on the “African Perspectives” show on WUGA 91.7 and 97.9 FM, hosted by Professor Akinleye A. Ojo. The discussion focused on John’s impactful civic engagement activities, the mission and achievements of Afrivoices for Climate Change, and his recent selection for the prestigious 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship.

During the interview, John elaborated on the mission of Afrivoices for Climate Change, emphasizing its dedication to empowering women and youth farmers through innovative and sustainable solutions. “Our organization is driven by the need to create resilient rural communities by providing them with the tools and knowledge to adapt to climate change,” John stated.
